I’m Rachel Christina Elizabeth Smith.
2020 brought change for everyone. For me it brought furlough. A lot of furlough. To keep myself sane I made sure I took my daily exercise in the form of a walk. Growing up in rural North Yorkshire I developed a keen interest in wild flowers and plants from a young age. And as the furlough continued and the seasons changed I decided to press and preserve some of the flowers and plants picked from my family's gardens. Influenced by brands such as Modern Pressed Flowers I decided to turn my pressed flower collection in to pictures and greetings cards.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them :)
Before furlough I worked in restaurant marketing and social media. I have over 10 years of experience in PR and Marketing in a variety of industries such as hospitality, beauty, fashion and product design. You can see examples of my work here.
